Why am I a Beachbody Coach?

Why am I a Beachbody Coach?

I get asked this question a lot and sometimes it's in such a manner as to degrade what I do. That's okay though...they just don't understand.

They don't understand the feeling I get when one of my challengers...

~ Is able to get off their prescription medication because they are able to control their issue with the new lifestyle they live.

~ Is able to quit smoking in 21 days AND lose weight at the same time.

~ Is able to not only fit into but also WEAR a pair of shorts that they have had laying around but too afraid to wear in public.

~ Is able to say they no longer fear a relapse with their eating disorder because they actually ENJOY their new eating habits and the easy to follow structured plan.

~ Is able to get out and play with their children without feeling defeated and tired.

These are just SOME of the non-scale victories that I hear from my challengers. Many of them start this journey looking to lose weight but instead find SO MUCH MORE! Guess what....I AM A PART OF THAT! That is WHY I am a Beachbody Coach. I don't care what anyone says....it's the most rewarding....at times difficult....but TOTALLY WORTH IT job!

There are many who believe that coaches only do it for the money. Well guess what, some do. I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE! This has always been a difficult part for me to discuss because yes, I make money because I invest my time, love and support into each one of my clients but it's important to understand that MY family doesn't need my income. My husband provides a pretty great life for us and the money I make from this business is play money for me (like all those organization projects I like to do around the house....or the detox program that I ordered...or when I buy the new Beachbody workout programs). It's also a way to set my family up for the future...once my husband retires (whenever that may be LOL). So you see, that's not the driving force for me.

I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE! I WANT TO INSPIRE PEOPLE! I WANT TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE AND TEACH MY CHILDREN TO DO THE SAME!

That's my driving force. That is why I am a coach!

Coaching isn't for everyone. It's not an overnight success and it's no pyramid scheme. It takes someone who cares about others, wants to see others succeed and someone who is willing to learn as well as teach. I don't have a fitness degree, nor am I expected to. I have personal experience and a lot of it. I know what works for me and I have a whole network of other coaches that share their experiences. I don't put the programs together...Beachbody and the World's top trainers do that for us! I learn about each program, what it focuses on and most of the time I purchase the program to try it myself so I have the personal experience to share with each of you. An added bonus....I get to work from home, in my PJ's, in my bed with a towel on my head while drinking Shakeology®! I bet you don't get to go to work like that!

Listen, I said it before, this coaching thing isn't for everyone. I totally get that! BUT if it does sound like something you are interested in then please message me or fill out the form below and I can add you to my next 3 Day All-Access Pass Into Beachbody Coaching group. I run them monthly and it's totally laid back. You can ask questions and I give you the run down of what I do as a coach plus I will talk about some of the misconceptions behind this opportunity. All-Access Pass into Coaching and Being a Momprenuer

Build a life you don't need a vacation from....

If you would have asked me a few years ago how to do that I wouldn't have been able to give you an answer. I would have said that it isn't possible. I wasn't ready to see the opportunity staring me in the face. Once I finally took the leap, I saw the possibility of creating a life by design. Creating a life that I don't need a vacation from!

How many of you live to work? Shouldn't you be working so you can live? Beachbody gives me a life. It provides an extra income in our house and gives me an outlet to help others....a true passion of mine.

Being a coach has allowed me to be present for every important event for my kids, allowed me to dedicate time to being a key spouse for my husband's unit and I don't have to worry about how many sick days I have or how much leave I have built up. I don't have to stress about being able to afford to take time to visit my family back home this Summer. Instead, I get to attend the HUGE Beachbody Summit this Summer and then I get to spend a couple of weeks hanging out with family on the BEACH!

These are just a few of the reasons I believe it's a MUST that I pay it forward and share this opportunity that has changed not only my life but my family's life....and many other coaches lives! This is an opportunity to learn what I do....including misconceptions and fears that even I had before I took my LEAP OF FAITH just over 2 hours ago.

I want to invite YOU and any/all of your friends who may be interested to join me for a FREE 3 Day ALL-ACCESS Pas into what coaching is all about from one mompreneur to another. You will have the chance to ask ANY and ALL questions you may have. This is a laid back, pressure free, PRIVATE Facebook group.

If you are interested, please simply comment below with "Interested" OR send me an email and I will add you to the group. It starts on Wednesday, Feb 17. Look forward to 'seeing' you there!

It's Time To Love Your Body!

February is a month about love but I think February 2016 should be a month about loving your body!

After having my second daughter I was so down on myself. Due to complications I was put on bed rest for two-thirds of the pregnancy. That meant sitting down, laying down, no activity and no picking up my oldest daughter for most of my pregnancy. I seriously ATE my feelings that whole time! At the time I gave birth, I had gained almost 70 pounds! It was the heaviest I had ever been in my life. When I walked out of the hospital after my daughter was born, I was still carrying 60 of those pounds. I did not love my body and it hit me hard. If it wasn't for Focus T25, Shakeology and my Beachbody support I wouldn't have found my love for my body again. I started T25 in January 2014 and by August 2014 I was down to my pre (BOTH) pregnancies weight! I was able to do this while not only caring for a newborn and toddler while my husband was in a six week schooling but also while preparing my house for our move overseas, over a month of traveling AND two months of settling in to our new home overseas. You can do this too!

Every person has a different meaning to what loving their body means. For me it was getting back to the body I had before kids but whatever that is for you, I want to help you get there!

I know what it feels like when you don't love your body and it's time you know what it feels like to LOVE your body!

I have three spots left in this group and the next three ladies that join the challenge will be entered into a drawing for a set of 21 Day Fix Containers, a Shakeology Shaker Cup and the Fixate Cookbook.

That means you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning this awesome package of goodies.
If you want the chance to love your body and win a great prize then please fill out the application below or email me to claim your spot.

I turned my rough week into a positive...you can too!

I'm just going to say it....

THIS WEEK HAS BEEN PRETTY CRAPPY!

I am not a negative person. I used to be but over the last couple of years I have worked very hard through personal development to change my outlook. It takes just as much energy to be positive as it does to be negative. So even through this rough week, I have done my hardest to be positive. Let me just summarize some of this week's events...

#1 - My husband's new work schedule for the next couple of months started this week. Stick with me for a minute. If you are a military spouse then you will understand this and if not then I will try to explain it so you understand. So the saying among the military ranks is "with rank come privileged". I saw it as a military member myself and I see it happen within my husband's work. This basically means that as you progress in rank you don't necessarily have to take part in some of those extra tasks that get assigned. I was hoping to see that happen with my husband since he tested and has been selected to promote to a Senior Non-commissioned Officer. Unfortunately that wasn't the case so he is part of this extra work schedule for the next couple of months. We were told that it would be 12 hour shifts....no big deal since my husband works 10-11 hours on a regular day but in reality, this new schedule has him working/away from home 15-16 hours! Now some will say "at least he's not deployed" but try explaining that to your children who don't see their daddy because he leaves before they wake up and gets home after they have already gone to bed. My two and three year old don't understand that. But this isn't the sole reason this week was rough....I've learned to "embrace the suck" when it comes to work schedules and my husband.

#2 - My youngest daughter came down with a fever and wouldn't even leave the COUCH! This is totally out of her nature and actually scared me quite a bit because even when she was not feeling well the week before, she was full of energy and playing her heart out. When she's down for the count and falling asleep in my lap....that means she's pretty sick. Luckily we have an amazing doctor here who, even though he was overbooked, worked us in to be seen and we found out she had a double ear infection and needs to be put on allergy medication.

(This was before I came down with my migraine...)

*** Did you know that if either parent has allergies then the child is has a 70% chance of having allergies as well? I didn't know this and unfortunately, I am the parent with allergies so I'm publicly apologizing to my children now! ***

And since everything comes in threes (at least that's what my family believes)....

#3 - Not only did I get pink eye....I have been dealing with what I believe to be a sinus infection as well as a migraine (from sinus infection & stress) for DAYS. When I say migraine....it's been horrible. The last time I had one this bad, it lasted three weeks during my senior year of high school and I was getting daily shots of morphine! With my husband working, our youngest daughter sick, trying to get our oldest to school and my issues I had to find ways to relieve the pain without sitting in the hospital. Between essential oils, some over the counter medication, a heating pad and as much sleep as I could get when my husband was home....that's how I have tried to heal myself. I'm not back 100% yet but I am feeling better than I did so that makes me happy.

(Yes I am wearing the same sweatshirt...don't judge...I'm lucky I had it in me to eat!)

So why am I doing such a negative post when I am normally such a positive person?

Honestly, I believe that everything is a learning lesson. I strongly believe that God will never give you more than you can handle and it was God who helped me make it this week. I honestly couldn't tell you the number of times I broke into prayer asking God to give me the strength to make it through the day.....and you know what HE DID! It wasn't without a whole lot of tears and prayers but I'm okay with that! This week was one of those defining weeks for me. You tend to experience a number of those when you are military spouse but there are only a handful that really stick with you. This is definitely one of those that will stick with me. It gives me the ability to say "If I made it through that week then I can make it through this." I guess what I am trying to say is that not every day, or every week is going to be positive. BUT you MUST FIND the positive in every situation, day, week, month and even year.
My positives from this week...

My husband is working long hours and isn't home as much....positive side is that I will be able to dedicate more time to my business without feeling like I'm neglecting my husband.

My kid getting sick with a double ear infection meant we saw the doctor and established that she needs to be on daily allergy medication. This should help her stay healthier because allergies can bring down your immune system and snot (sorry I know it's gross) is a carrier of germs.

Getting my migraine this week really helped me learn some great alternative fixes such as my heating pad, essential oils and honestly got me in the practice of talking to God more often. Putting things in God's hands and asking for him to help me.

If I can find the positives in my past week then I challenge you to find the positives in yours as well! Share yours below!

Why Military Spouses Make Perfect Beachbody Coaches!

As an U.S Army Veteran and now an Air Force wife I understand what it's like to be the one holding the fort down while your spouse is working late hours, working odd shifts or even deployed. Those days that the school or daycare calls to say your child is sick...you are the one leaving work to go pick them up because your job is the expendable one. You are the one taking time off work until your child is well enough to go back to school/daycare. I've been there! When we had our daughters, my husband was an instructor at a leadership school....there was no leaving work for him. If he was teaching then he was almost unreachable for a good 12 hours a day. I know that he never felt good about putting it all on me but I also knew that he enjoys his job and I was aware of what I was signing up for when I became his wife. That doesn't make it easier to know that my needs end up taking second place to the duties I have being a military spouse. Here's the good news though....YOU CAN CHANGE THAT!

Finding balance has been a big aspect of my life lately. Between family, health, school and volunteering....income and and ME time got moved to the back of the line. I knew it was time to find some balance so I figured out ways to take control of each aspect of my life. Once I started using Focus T25 to gain control over my health and losing the 50 pounds of baby weight hanging around from my second pregnancy, I started to realize that it was also giving me the ME time that I so desperately wanted and needed. Then something very unexpected happened...I became a stay at home mom with no income! About 6 or 7 months after becoming a stay at home mom I became a Beachbody coach and that has not only helped me maintain control over my health but it's helped me gain control over my income, school and allows me the time for my family as well as volunteering.

I know that you would probably love to take control of your life as well. How much would an extra income help your family? Well it's absolutely possible and it's possible by being a Beachbody coach.

Here are a few reasons why you, as a military spouse, would make a perfect Beachbody coach:

The business moves with you!
Moving every 2-3 years is nothing new to us. With that move comes you quitting your job OR you just don't work because by the time you start a job you only have a year of settling in until you are due for the next PCS orders. That makes it very hard for us as spouses to have careers. Forget about a retirement! We put our careers on the back burner so that our spouse is able to serve our country proudly and we are there to hold the fort down. Well Beachbody coaching is a business that you build NO MATTER where you are! I mean I live in Belgium and my business has moved from good ol' Georgia all the way here to Belgium. You don't have to quit just because it's PCS time. That actually expands your business because you are connecting with so many MORE people! I spend 30 days on vacation just before our PCS overseas and then a month in TLF and guess what....my business didn't suffer at all! If I have internet then I can work. That can be you too!

Providing encouragement is the "norm" to us!
It's nothing new to us military spouses to be there to provide encouragement to another spouse. Think about all those times you were there for that spouse while their husband was deployed. We are able to jump right in there and find the positive in the situation....help lift their spirits and get them through that difficult time. This will help you as a Beachbody coach when you a have a challenger that is struggling in their journey. It could be fitness, nutrition or even just life in general and they will look to you for encouragement and support. You will be able to provide that for them...it's the "norm" for you.

We are probably the most organized people around!
Like I said before, we are the ones who hold the fort down. We get the kids out the door and to school on time, we make the dinners, we get the kids to practices and clean the house....we take care of it all! We couldn't do it if we weren't organized. I believe that this organization also comes with the more time you have been a part of the military lifestyle. The more PCS moves you have been through, the more organized you become. Let's be honest...how many of us make lists....I mean like every day lists so that we make sure it all gets done?!?! It wouldn't be a huge deal to add a few things to that list for 1-2 hours of work to not only build yourself a business but to help others build one as well! We can take care of the kids, the house, a husband on deployment and even work (for some of you)....I'm positive you can manage a Beachbody business as well.

We have a strong sense of community!
Let's face it...we love our family but majority of the time we are so far from them due to our spouse's duty location. We have learned that our closest family is other military members and spouses. We build a community around the families our spouse serves with. We cherish those friendships and grow them even when we have both PCS'd to different states or countries. I have friends that I consider family that live in Arizona, North Dakota, Ohio, Italy, Germany....the list goes on and on. And when we do move to a new base then our friends are more than willing to connect us with anyone they know at that base. We have a military community, a military family really. That becomes true with Beachbody as well. We get to connect ourselves with so many amazing people around the United States, Canada and overseas bases! We share a common interest of helping others live healthier lives. We aren't sales people....making calls and asking them to buy from us...all we do is share our experiences with the products that we use...the people come to us! Since you already have a strong community that trusts you and your opinion you will have a great experience with this.

It's FREE for us!
For any active duty member, active duty spouse or a veteran it is totally free to be a coach. Beachbody waives all of the fees to not only become a coach but also the monthly coaching fee! That's right, you get to become a coach for free and start making an income! PLUS, you get a discount on all products as a coach. The typical sign up fee for coaching is $39.95 which will be reimbursed to you once you submit your paperwork (military orders with your name on them or DD214). Then after you submit your paperwork the normal $15.95 monthly coaching fee is waived as well. So here's the deal:

~ You will get 25% off of all Beachbody products, to include your Shakeology.

~ You will be reimbursed the $39.95 enrollment fee once you submit the appropriate paperwork.

~ You will not pay the $15.95 monthly business fee.

So you get all these benefits and all you need to do is maintain your monthly Shakeology order. Now, if you don't know about Shakeology then you are MISSING OUT! It is seriously an amazing product that my husband, my kids and I drink daily. If you have questions about it then please email me and I can tell you all about it.

Beachbody coaching has seriously changed my life. By doing just a few daily behaviors (we call them the vital behaviors) I have been able to build a business that provides my family an extra while I am still able to keep our home running smoothly. I can grow my business as fast or as slowly as I would like and I am able to base that around what is going on with my husband's career or even what is going on with my kids. I get to take a day off if my kids are sick and now worry about whether or not my boss will be mad....I AM MY OWN BOSS! Today is the perfect example of just that. My oldest daughter is home sick and we are probably going to have to take her to the doctor. Meanwhile there are some important events taking place at work that my husband can't miss and that's okay! I can not only take my daughter but I can put her to bed after giving her medicine and lots of love then come downstairs and get to work. My hours are set by me! It's an amazing opportunity that I am so grateful for!

You may be wondering if this is really going to be right for you and I totally understand that so I put together a little 5 day sneak peek onto what Beachbody coaching is all about. The group will start on 25 September and is a Facebook group. All you need to do to join is head to this link below and request to join the group. Once you have done that then on 25 September I will post daily information about what coaching is all about. It's totally free!
